The Sumarezinho Apartment, meticulously crafted by Pianca Arquitetura, revolves around a strategic reconfiguration of its core areas to enhance functionality and spatial harmony. The project’s focal point lies in optimizing the kitchen and service area while seamlessly integrating them with the social zones, fostering a cohesive living experience.

Enhancing Functionality

A significant aspect of the project involved relocating the service area to a more suitable space within the former kitchen, thereby allowing for a more proportionate setup. This adjustment not only enlarged the kitchen area but also elevated its significance in the daily activities of the household. Simultaneously, a dining room was conceived to bridge the gap between the living room and kitchen, ensuring a fluid transition between these pivotal spaces.

Integrated Spaces

The integration theme extends to one of the bedrooms, where walls bordering the living room and corridor were removed to create an integrated office. This transformation not only optimizes space but also introduces versatility. Sliding panels were strategically incorporated to divide rooms when needed while also serving as a dynamic graphic element within the apartment.

Aesthetically, the apartment embraces a cohesive color palette and material selection. The kitchen and laundry area feature burnt cement with orange tones, harmonizing with the warmth of wood parquet flooring.
